Camping Québec is the largest association of campground owner/operators in Canada, with more than 550 members. It offers a wide range of services and activities for its members and lobbies government authorities as required. Campground owner/operators can also obtain valuable advice from Camping Québec headquarters staff all year round.

Within the 2008 Camping Quebec congress will be held the 2008 Award of Excellence where will be announced this year’s winners.

Annual Convention

Each year Camping Québec organizes a convention in Fall. This annual event brings together campground owner/operators who use this occasion to network and to attend the various workshops prepared especially for them. The annual general meeting and election of a new Board of Directors also take place during the convention. Suppliers Exhibition is offering exclusive one-day rebates on a wide range of products and services.

Conference

Each spring a one-day conference is organized for members. This meeting enables everyone to reconnect before the beginning of the season and to be on the lookout for new trends in the camping industry for the coming season. Various workshop and a Suppliers Exhibition are offered.

Regional Meetings

The month of September is the time of the regional meetings. These meetings are particularly appreciated by campground owners since they give them the chance to debate issues that are specific to each region.

Strategic planning meetings

New: This year, two strategic planning meeting will be held, in addition to the regional meetings, enabling campground owners to discuss of the industry issues in order to collect information for the 2008 annual convention. A visit of the campground host is also planned in the schedule.
